What is Alephium?
Alephium offers a scalable blockchain improving on mature ideas from Bitcoin to deliver reliable, powerful and secure DeFi and dApps capabilities. It leverages blockflow sharding for up to 10,000 TPS and a stateful UTXO model for secure, programmable DeFi and dApps. It's eco-friendly, using only ⅛ of Bitcoin's energy, and introduces Alphred, a custom VM for better security and development. Alephium also features its own programming language, providing a user-friendly alternative to Solidity.
