What is Candide?
Candide is a self-custodial smart contract wallet that leverages Account Abstraction (ERC-4337) to simplify the onchain experience. It is open source and built for the Ethereum public good. With Candide, users can recover their wallet through designated Recovery Contacts instead of relying on seed phrases. The wallet also supports one-click dapp interactions through bundled calls, and lets users pay gas fees with supported stablecoins instead of ETH.
