iden3
Iden3 is a self-sovereign privacy protocol in Web3.

What is iden3?
iden3 is a next-generation private access control protocol based on self-sovereign identity, built on the Ethereum blockchain. It uses zk-SNARKs, a battle-tested method for securing privacy, to allow any computational condition to be verified through zero-knowledge proofs. With its native naming service, iden3 enables users in Web3 to transact and carry out on-chain activities more anonymously. The protocol includes an ID sponsor module that lets developers cover blockchain interaction costs for users. Although iden3 started on Ethereum, it is scaling to Layer 2 through zkRollup technology for accessibility.
