What is Acala?
Acala is the DeFi parachain on Polkadot, combining AcalaSwap (DEX), Homa (DOT liquid staking with LDOT), and Honzon (the aSEED stablecoin) on a single application-specific chain. Acala EVM+ lets Solidity developers deploy Ethereum-compatible contracts that can natively access DOT, liquid-staked DOT, and other Polkadot assets through cross-chain messaging. Backed by infrastructure used by Coinbase, Figment, and Credora.
