Chain Fusion
Chain Fusion is the Internet Computer's cross-chain protocol where users hold ckBTC and ckETH — chain-key tokens backed 1:1 by native BTC and ETH without a centralized bridge custodian.

What is Chain Fusion?
Chain Fusion is DFINITY's cross-chain interoperability layer for the Internet Computer Protocol. Users mint chain-key tokens like ckBTC and ckETH that are backed 1:1 by native BTC or ETH and managed entirely by ICP smart contracts using threshold cryptography — no centralized bridge custodian. Apps on ICP can then call directly into Bitcoin and Ethereum without wrapped intermediaries.
