What is dYdX?
Founded in 2017, dYdX is a decentralized exchange that offers perpetual and spot trading across 220+ markets. The platform provides pro-grade tools, self-custody, and seamless deposits from multiple chains including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, and Optimism. dYdX originally launched on the Ethereum Network and in 2021 introduced a Layer 2 protocol based on StarkWare's zero-knowledge rollups. The exchange has since launched its own independent blockchain, enabling scalable infrastructure with $1.5T in lifetime transfer volume. dYdX also offers mobile apps, a Telegram trading interface, and affiliate and rewards programs.
