What is IPFS?
IPFS is a distributed file storage protocol that uses content-addressing to identify and retrieve data across a peer-to-peer network. IPFS is accessible to all as it is available on browsers, desktops, and the CLI. The ipfs.io public gateway acts as a bridge between the traditional web (HTTP) and the IPFS protocol, allowing anyone to access content from public IPFS networks regardless of their browser.
