What is Metaplex?

Metaplex is one of the largest protocols on Solana, enabling creators and developers to create tokens, mint NFTs, and manage digital assets. Launched in August 2021, it has facilitated over 923 million tokens and NFTs created and more than $10 billion in total transaction value. With Metaplex Studio, users can launch customized NFT collections without any coding involved. For developers, Metaplex offers a range of tools and software development kits, including Candy Machine for minting and distribution, Auction House for selling, and Token Metadata for adding NFTs to projects.
