What is OnRe?
OnRe is a Bermuda-regulated reinsurer that issues ONyc, a Solana token representing a share of a segregated reinsurance account underwritten with Guy Carpenter and Howden. Holders earn yield from underwriting premiums and collateral investments — historically in the 12-16% range — and can use ONyc as collateral on Kamino or trade it on Orca. The protocol holds over $180M in deposits.
