What is OutDID?
OutDID is a fully private identity verification service that leverages Zero Knowledge Proofs to verify original government-issued documents without involving intermediaries. Users in Web3 and Web2 are becoming increasingly reluctant to share their most private information, such as government IDs, just to access age-restricted services. OutDID resolves the privacy vs verifiability dilemma by performing verification locally on the user's device, generating a ZK credential that contains only the minimum information needed. This allows Web3 and Web2 platforms alike to perform identity verification in a fully private and trustless manner, while limiting data liabilities on the side of online apps and services.
