Spice AI
Spice AI is a data platform for AI context that enables sub-second queries across any data source.

What is Spice AI?
Spice AI is a data platform for AI context that lets developers and enterprises query any data source at the speed AI demands. The open-source platform is deployable anywhere — locally, at the edge, or on the fully managed Spice.ai Cloud Platform. Spice AI offers SQL federation and acceleration for fast, federated access to operational databases, data lakes, and warehouses. It also provides hybrid search combining keyword, vector, and full-text search in SQL, as well as embedded AI inference that allows calling hosted or local LLMs directly from the query layer. The platform features AI sandboxing and security for provisioning isolated, least-privilege datasets, and distributed observability for end-to-end tracing across SQL, embeddings, search, and LLM calls. Spice AI is deployed in production by global enterprises including Twilio and Barracuda.
