Scalability
opBNB uses Optimistic rollup to process transactions off-chain while maintaining BSC chain security. By bundling transactions into batches and submitting them to the main chain, opBNB reduces BSC's computational load, enabling faster, cheaper transactions.
Increased Transaction Throughput
The adoption of Optimistic Rollup allows opBNB to achieve significantly higher transaction. As of early 2024, opBNB supports up to 5,000 transactions per second (TPS).
